Hello,

I'm trying to isntall Openwrt to Mikrotik hAP acĀ², to use tvheadend, but im hitting a wall. The kernel installs okay, I can boot luci web, everything working, but when I try to sysupgrade, as I'm supposed, yhe router bricks itself, and must start over again. I tested installing the sysupgrade via web, and telnet.

Did you upgrade bootloader to v7? If so you have to downgrade it.

Yeah, I'm using latest 7.1.3, I should downgrade to something below 7.X?

Edit: With downgrading the RB version is still 7.1.3, but OS is 6.X

Go to /system routerboard. Running print likely shows upgrade version lower than current. Next execute upgrade ... it will actually downgrade routerboot to the version available from currently running ROS.
