Solving network security issue

Hi all together,
probably I’m having a quite weird issue, maybe it’s just paranoia.
This morning I plugged in my new hAP ac2 and connected it with my router, a Fritzbox 6490, which is the gateway to the internet.
After that, I needed to leave the house and I came back hours later.
Then I saw that AP was offering a free WiFi with no passphrase, also the web GUI is unprotected.
Being connected with the hAP via WiFi, I can reach all network devices, including Raspberry Pi’s and stuff.
Now my concern is that in the meantime Someone accessed my network and maybe installed a persistent accessibility onto the hAP to be able to access the network from outside without having to be connected with my network, e.g. via WiFi because I set a WiFi password and an admin password now, of course. I’m living in Berlin, the chance someone with technical experience found my open WiFi is high.
Is there a way to completely re-install the firmware to undo all possible settings made to the hAPs Linux?
