I'm ordering the stuff for my buddy's new house. We've decided to go with a mix of "wsAP ac lite's" and "cAP ac XL's". These will be hard-wired 1G ethernet backhaul to an RB4011.
Somewhere in this mix I'm going to need a switch the provides PoE to the access points.
I'll be honest: I've had mixed success with MT APs' ability to take PoE. I suspect it's because most switches I've dealt with (cough netgear cough) provide Active PoE and MT seems to use a lot of Passive PoE.
Can someone point me to a decent, reliable switch that will provide (at least) 8 PoE outputs that will power up the wsAPs and cAPs we've chosen?
Thanks in advance!
