L009 has ROS x32Hap ax lite has arm32.
My point was that Ax Lite has an arm processor (=32 bit).L009 has ROS x32Hap ax lite has arm32.
Without wifi, I see perfect use for this device though I can understand in some cases at least a little bit of wifi can be useful. It doesn't always have to reach bleeding speed to be functional. And I agree with chechito, it look a device made to move to ARM but to not compete with HAP AX3 and RB5009.
Absolutely, we are on the same page.Without wifi, I see perfect use for this device though I can understand in some cases at least a little bit of wifi can be useful. It doesn't always have to reach bleeding speed to be functional.
But I'll prefer my RB5009 too
There may be hope, the hap ax lite is getting hw assisted ipsec in v7.10betaNo HW encription,
... is maybe a little bit kooky !has a modern ARM CPU with container support

Well, I have mixed feeling, but more towards disappointment.
wondering why the 2.5G-port is sfp and not copper-rj45 ...
I've learned that 2.5G-fiber sfp's are on the market ... but not even the chinese-network-supermarket has the items in it's store.
Plus the recurring dream of being able to get a Rolls Royce for the cost of a city car...i think marketing is backfiring on L009 ,some of us (me included) at first expected to see it as a worthy representative of 2011-3011-4011-5009 Latvian Muscle legendary Router Family when it is far from it
... more knowledge gaps ... "GPON ONU" ... thought that was a rebell from "Liang Shan Po [ 水滸伝 ] "SFP cage on this product maybe its compatible GPON ONU
just a guess ... never seen a GPON installation on the shores of my home-zone ... MT-competition had these stuff on the list ... remember I've tried to enhance the zoo on ebay with it ...Cut costs, not speed – choose GPEN over GPON!
There are multiple powering options for RB5009. You can use 24V up to 57V on 2 of them at the same time (but only 1 will be in use).Yes, RB5009 has an all-port POE version, but not both 24 + 48V power supplies at once.
Unfortunately, the RB9xx cannot handle 48V.
hap ax2 has 2.4+5ghz. hAp ax lite only has 2.4.Thanks, not sure what to wait for thou...
But yes i was thinking hap ax2. The 2,4ghz limit would not be an issue since it would be installed in the basement where all the internet stuff is. The caps are installed in both ends of the house on the ground floor and that is enough to cover ground floor and 2nd floor.
Let's see if mikrotik will release a smaller cap ax (lite?)
