I am struggling to reset the User Manager web interface password using Router OS7.8, I have tried /tool user-manager and /user-manager but after that any combination of commands that I have found in the forums or YouTube fail to work... please help

The new user manager doesn't have a web interface for admin. Therefore you should use CLI or Winbox.
