Hello everyone,

I have a question about performance based on the test results on the mikrotik hardware site. The performance of the CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ listed with no filter rules and then with 25 filter rules for both routing and for bridging is huge. My question is how does a filter rule that just drops traffic destine for the device itself (IE: TCP 443 or 22) if not sourced from a specified address/IP block (either as a address list or as a src address specified in the rule)?

Also, since Vlans for trunk ports would get done by adding multiple ports to a bridge or Trunk bonded interfaces would be on a bridge, how does this impact the bandwidth performance since these do hardware offload.

Basically trying to understand the performance of this router for a project I am in the process of doing evaluation of.

i think before doing that kind of investment a good idea is to know the product
