Multiple SSID's?

Sun Jan 30, 2005 9:01 am

Is it possible to create multiple SSID's on one wireless interface? Eventually, I would like to assign one SSID to one VLAN. Can this be done with MT (Cisco 1200AP can do it)?

Thanks for the assistance.

Create a viritual AP, and assign it to your master WLAN interface. Then you add a VLAN and assign it to the Viritual AP (WLANx).

Yes RouterOS can do this.
Add VirtualAP to master interface (real wireless interface) and add vlan on say ether1 (if vlan switch is connected to ethernet). Bridge traffic from virtualap interface with vlan interface and you effectivly "assign a vlan to an ssid".
