hAP lite RB041-2nD how to update?

Hello,
i bought just a tre hAP lite RB941-2nD. I try to update it but i get an error message "not enough diskspace"

is their a workaround?

Don't bother.
Not enough space.
You can try with netinstall but the next version you will run into the same problems.

Yeah, that doesn´t sound good. Has Mikrotik no ambition to keep their devices up to date?
Its a bit odd that i am unable to update devices that i purchages just days ago...

You are talking about a low end device that was introduced in 2015 (and probably earlier) that stil receives updates. What other brand does that? Did you buy the correct device (and are you expectations correct)?
As mentioned...there is a workaround by using netinstall. If you stick to V6.x LTS, you won't get that many updates.

Find the fix-space-6.47-smips.npk file on the net, copy it to your device and reboot it. After that there will be enough free space for updating.
This problem appeared and was solved back in 2020-21. Apparently your device has been in the distributor's warehouse since then
