2.5Gbps speed on RB5009 not working

Hi.

I have an RB5009 with ROS 7.11 and a 2.5G network card on my pc. I'm plugged into eth1 on the router (2.5Gbps port). When I do a speed test, the download is fine, I get 2.2Gbps, but the upload seems to be limited to 1Gbps. My uplink is a 10G connection and when I do a simultaneous speedtest from 2 devices I can get 2Gbps upload speed. I'm using ookla speedtest to few nearby servers, one of them is hosted by our company and it can handle that kind of speeds without any problem.

Did somebody experienced this situation where the upload speed seems to be limited?

Thanks

Are you sure your 2.5Gbps adapter is working properly? I've seen horror stories with some adapters (Realtek), with poor download or upload speeds.

Try checking the adapter first, without getting the RB5009 involved. Then move back to the router.

The thing is, I first bought a Realtek adapter and then bought another with Intel chip. The upload speed on both is exactly the same. Seems to be hitting that 1gb limit

I have my PC (Realtek 2.5G PCIe onboard) connected to ether1on the RB5009. The 5009 is connected via DAC cable to CRS309. My Synology NAS is connected to a 2.5G SFP in the same CRS309 using a Realtek RTL8156B USB cable https://github.com/bb-qq/r8152/releases
Result: steady 280 MB/s (2250 Mbit/s) both ways.

Thanks. I'm suspecting the problem is in the cabling. I will try to investigate that.
