i got a hap mini lite and i would like to use it as a repeater. Which option from the menu do i have to use to create the repeater, please?
i tried the CPE and it connects to the desired wifi, but it does not create a wifi for me to connect.

AFAIK there is no "repeater" quickset option. I guess part of the reason is the fact that transparent repeater function is not part of 802.11 and every WiFi vendor made their own proprietary extensions to provide this functionality. Which means that if AP and repeater are not made by same vendor, things likely don't work transparrently.

A side note: MT's ax devices (running wifiwave2 driver) don't support this mode either even if AP used is also mikrotik device.

On MikroTik you can add a virtual interface to the primary wifi and then route between them.
So first you configure it as a CPE and then you manually add a virtual wireless in ap mode, add a network address and DHCP server, and you
can use it to extend the network. Is not a repeater, but works much like one.
Only when your main router is MikroTik as well you can setup everything in bridging and have a real repeater.
