I am experiencing a very peculiar issue: I have a Mikrotik CHR installed on a VPS that has one WAN and one LAN interface. Every 100 minutes, the ether2 (LAN) interface becomes unresponsive for exactly two minutes. During this time, the Mikrotik does not send or receive any packets on that interface, while the WAN interface works fine. The routing table is correct and the interface status is up, but the Mikrotik does not respond to incoming or send any traffic. The issue persists even when I create a different VPS with the same configuration. I suspect that it may be related to the specific virtualization environment of the hosting provider because the same configuration works fine on another VPS provider. The most intriguing part is that the issue occurs at precise intervals: every 100 minutes for two minutes, and then everything works normally for another 100 minutes. Disabling and re-enabling the ether2 interface does not resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
