qBittorrent opened 1400+ UPNP Sessions

My qBittorrent running on my Mac Book has for some reason opened up 1400+ UPnP sessions with random ports on my Mikrotik Hex. I am not sure what is causing this weird behaviour? I've turned the application off, but the NAT page is still showing over 1400 entries from that macbook.

Appreciate any advise on what I should do in this situation? All other UPNP devices are operating normally with 1 session per app/devices (my IP Cameras, Deluge on my Synology, my Plex etc)

Please help me, kind regards.

UPnP is where it started (is it required?) and qBittorrent finished it. I would expect that there are some options in qBittorrent to limit these sessions. Using torrent feels like something from the past...at least for me.

You have a point, thanks for sharing that, I will have a look, however when the device is switched off, I expected UPnP NAT rule entires to be removed from that Mikrotik page, in which case they weren't, hence why I asked this as well in my original post.

Set fixed port in qBittorrent, it randomizes it on each launch.

I have the same issue and my MK just crashed due it, the app so far i seen do this is also IPFS and spacemesh node, in 3h they made 200+ NAT rule
shame on mikrotik to not sort this out on internal level but ask ppl to use stupid scripts to deal with this!!!!!!!!!
also advising ppl not to use upnp, if you do not like upnp they say "we offer no support and our UPnP is crap"!!!!
