wifiwave2 connect-list

Wed Oct 11, 2023 8:38 pm

Are there plans to support connect-list in wifiwave2? Or is there an alternate method of accomplishing similar things?

I used it to limit MAC uplinks in wireless previously (have a new AP that only supports wifiwave2).

Hello friends. Is there any news on this issue two years later?

I tried to create a subinterface and make it in station mode. But it does not connect to the network and the scan does not produce results. My device is HAP AC2.

Only master interface can realistically be used in station mode ... because only master interface can scan frequencies for APs.

What then should I do if I need to connect to different ssids depending on their availability? This works on the old version, I would like to use it on the new one. or just downgrade?

It seems that access-list subtree should allow to set device in station mode to behave similarly to legacy wireless with connect-list, I seem to remember a few discussions about it. Sadly I din't find any useful topic right now ... and I never tried it myself. So let's hope that somebody with right experience drops by ...
