Hi

I have two CCR2116-12G-4s
I have them setup with VRRP and most time this works fine

But occasionally Router 2 (backup router) becomes RM while Router 1 stays RM
This causes internet drop outs.
Restarting R2 fixes this issue.

How can i make it stop?
If you need more information to assist with the diagnoses please let me know and i will supply

I am still facing this issue
I have two Routers setup with VRRP
After approximately 4H30min
my backup router becomes the master
the only thing in my logs are
vrrp,info VRRP-94Range now MASTER, master down timer in Router2(R2)

Which causes my internet to drop
if i disabled the interface the Link goes down and resets the VRRP back to my Router1(R1)

any help or guidance would be appreciated

i think i really did sort it this time,
let me pre-empt this by i am very new to mikrotik and this is my first router setup.
I had Pre-emptive mode setup on both Main and Backup.
I believe this was causing Backup to try be main
I now have it setup only on Main router not on backup router and so far so good
