identify what hotspot the payment has come from??

Tue Nov 27, 2007 2:42 pm

Hi,

I have implemented user manager and it is now running OK. I am going to be rolling out the hotspots to various locations and using one paypal account but I would like to know how I can setup a payment id. i.e. if the payment comes from hotspot1 how can I mark that so that the payment email from paypal shows this. Currently it only show a payment from user manager. This makes it impossible to see if the hotspot is infact making any money. I am going to use a centralised user manger so all hotspot radius setting will point back to this server.

Thanks Mark

HotSpot is not aware about any settings on the User Manager. It just checks, if such user exists or not on the RADIUS database.
As far as I know, there are no such information available.

sergejs,

I was think more about when a user signs up to a specific hotspot it would be good to know which hotspot. That way we could see if the hotspot was making money :) ..... I know I can name the WLAN interface on that is reported to the radius db but there is no way of generating a report with this information. Or is there ?
