Ben at PacWireless mentioned that Mikrotik was certifying the 3' dual polarity dish with Mikrotik/Routerboard hardware and systems.

Is this true?

If so, when will the certification process be complete and what is the FCC ID?

Highly doubt it as there current 3 foot dish does not perform dual polarity options correctly. Either polarity works fine in a single point to point operation. However when both polarities are working one "cancels" out the other.

Sure! This will work with 802.11n but not with 802.11x cause the isolation between the H an V ist to low for sending.

I am waiting for Mikrotiks 802.11n.

Really when did you buy the dish? Cause we have about 10 that are all performing badly not including several that customers are all having identical issues with. Just wondering if they fixed the problem.

Next concerning the 25M what ROS you on and what platform?

Pacwireless had a bad run of feedhorns for the 5.8ghz 2' solid dishes. I think it was last winter or something, I'm not sure. We've bought some since then and they are all good. They replaced the ones we had problems with.

I can confirm this problem with Pac Wireless HDDA5W-32DP and SR5.

Using one polarity at time on a 35km link you have 100% CCQ, full bandwidth and steady signal, using both the pols CCQ drop to 30%-70% and bandwidth and signal are much instable, this happens no matter how far you set the frequencies/tx power (ex. 5500-5540 is quite the same as 5200-5800).

Still have to figure out where is the problem: in the aerial (low port-to-port isolation), or in mPCI card (no good RF filter), so the only solution at the time is to use better aerials (Gabriel, Radiowaves, Andrew) or build some good cavity filters, but i didn't try yet.

There is almost no port-to-port isolation. The elements in the feedhorn are pretty close to each other and nothing except for a polarity change a tiny distance separate them from each other. We use the dual feed antennas for redundancy. If a cable gets damaged or fails, we switch polarities and are back in business.

Most of the normal radio cards have weak rf filtering as well.

The fancy fully duplex systems like the Western Multiplex Tsunami gear that transmits and receives on different frequencies (using the same single coax and antenna), has a nice little combiner/filter box. I think that's probably the key to their system working properly. It's basically 2 pigtails coming in, and 1 N type going out.
