how to reset rb/532

hi all
I have try to push reset button also push and hold no reaction
Could somebody explain how to reset router board. I have RB/532
because we lost password and need to set new one

the button is not for software, it's BIOS backup loader button. For software reset there is a jumper. Check the manual on routerboard.com

hmm i have check manual strange but nothing writed about reset flash

Look for JP1, if it is not jumper, you need to place screwdriver for the time RouterBOARD is booted up.
Alternatively, you may use netinstall to reset the configuration.

I have spoke with peoples and they said only one way to reset password is rewrite flash...
second question how to rewrite flash?

Have you opened the box and looked at the JP1 ?
There should be JP1 jumper or "pads".
Most likely they mean by 'rewrite flash' - netinstall,

look below: this little hole is JP1, Stick a screwdriver in it while booting (to short-circuit it) and it will reset the config.

i have a router 500r5 and to wan card on it i used one wan card to lock on to a network and the other wan card to broadcast the singal i am reciving from the first card now it doesn t let me login to the board any more it says my user name or password is wrong i tried hard reseting it the hole doesn t do anything for it to be set to factory deafults what do i do i really need my board to work as i only have one?

Run Netinstall to reinstall it and reset the configuration,

Make sure you connect (short-circuit) both halves of the copper around the hole on the picture above. It works on RB500r5.
