Hi all sorry is this is dumb but i'm new....
how do i set up 2 ethernet ports to get ip address information from the DHCP server i.e I have ether2 connected to my ISP, it gets the public ip address, i then have ether9 with my laptop conected and it gets its IP address ohk from the DHCP server, what i need now is to enable ether8 so its gets the same information as ether9 (so that i can use bothe at the same time with the same DHCP info)

thanks

:) you also need to set ip address on bridge that was on ether9 and also set dhcp server to run on bridge not ehter9. Simply set bridge interface everywhere where you have ether9
