Hello,

I have a 5G MikroTik router (I believe the model is the MikroTik LMT 5G R16) provided by my ISP, which is linked via ethernet to an Asus RT-AX92U, which is then linked to my PC via ethernet. I am attempting to do some port forwarding (specifically setting up a Minecraft server on my PC), however I seem to run into a problem where the MikroTik router doesn't do any successful port forwarding to the Asus router (I have used this same router in a previous setup without the MikroTik router and it worked to my satisfaction). I have attached my MikroTik settings panel for port forwarding. I would appreciate suggestions for a solution.

What dest ip should the Mikrotik router forward this port to ?
If you using two routers, are you also doing double nat ?
If so, my best suggestion is to disable the routing in the Mikrotik if you can do so from your isp cpe.
So the Mikrotik just become a switch/bridge And your own asus router will serve the nat translation and
you need to configure the nat forwarding in the asus router.

Many ISP's now also uses there own nat technics called cgnat, if so you should contact them and ask
them to disable that so your own router or the isp cpe router get an valid public ip instead of private cgnat one.

Not the best view, for us to look at. There is no to-addresses on that display, you would need to select the RULE you are talking about and expand the ACTION tab, to display the rule more fully.
The To-address should be the LANIP of the ASUS router ( on one of your MT lan subnets ).

Thanks for the assistance. I have attached some additional screenshots - two with the expanded rule window (didn't fit on one) as well as my ASUS router config screenshot, in case that is of any value. I am rather certain that my ASUS router IP is the one entered in the MikroTik settings, however there still seems to be no progress. I would appreciate a more detailed explanation of "disable routing", as most of the instructions available online seem to be for a more complicated version of RouterOS. I am aware of this double NAT problem, however I am not experienced enough in networking to understand the solution for a MikroTik router. Many thanks for the help.

Well, nothing in your evidence shows that the IP of the asus is 192.168.8.253 but I assume it is.
Secondly your two ports should be the same as your dst-port or blank ( as the router will assume its the same with no entry).
What is in there now 0-6535 is incorrect.
