3.0rc13 - bridge & l2tp

I've setup an l2tp-client, a bridge, a admin mac address on the bridge, changed mrru to 1500 on the ppp interfaces, a ppp profile that bridges that l2tp-client, and I'm getting a bridge port thats DI (Dynamic Inactive). The other side is configured the same way except its a l2tp-server. Anyone know why both sides bridge ports would be inactive ? Do I need a special MAC address or something on the bridge (both have 'admin MAC addresses' set to a virtual MAC) ?

Really what I am asking is does anyone have ppp interfaces bridged in 3.0 and its working ? Can you post your config.

Sam

I have the same problem with pptp+bridge.

Send a step by step instruction to support - will be fixed in the next release.

Interesting thread.

I'm trying to create an L2TP tunnel where the client end is bridged to a real interface - ether1.

Can someone tell me if this is actually possible?

Thanks in advance

Malcolm

yes, if MRRU on l2tp tunnel is > 1514 bytes.
