Alix3c2 and MikroTik

I have bought http://www.pcengines.ch/alix3c2.htm but i could NOT install Mikrotik. I have install MT in the Compact Flash but it could NOT boot from the CF. Is there any support for alix3c2 from MT?

Any ideas how can i use Mikrotik in alix3c2??? Please help....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

contact the manufacturer. we haven't tested this device.

I have just contacted with manufacturer and he told me to try a different compact flash because mikrotik i very picky about CFs . Do you know what type of cf to use?

Not sure if that will help. Strange suggestion. Anyway use good brand, sandisk or lexar or similar.

First, you must use x86 version. Second, try with 256MB Kingston CF.

I had many problems with 512+ MB from Trascend in my WRAPs boards.

I had many problems with 512+ MB from Trascend in my WRAPs boards.
I have tried without any result 1Gb kingston 512 sandisk and 128 noname. With Kingstone and sandisk it starts to boot and it writes "ok ready" but after that nothing. It suppose that after "ok ready" MIKTOTIK login will appear but unfortunately nothing happens.

Any others ideas???

Do you have the latest BIOS on your ALIX board?
There seem to be some boot/install issues with older BIOS versions.
Get the current one from the manufacturer website...

I have updated with the last firmware but i have the same problem. Now I have ordered a kingston 256 compact flash. Last try.........
