Hi Guys,
Seeking for some advice.
I'm looking at 2 device of same model (CCR2116-12G-4S+) but upon checking they have 2 different Software-ID.
One is on WBTI-3SQP and the other one is on U2FC-NXB1, I want to know if there will be a difference on their performance.
Can I change the software-ID of the other one?
They will be doing the same processes once in production one will be the backup and the other one will be the primary.

Thank you in advance for any input that you may share.

Cheers!

I don't think software ID has anything with hardware[*]. I've got two devices RB951G, both purchased around the same time, both came with similar factory installed ROS and firmware, AFAIK there weren't different revisions of this model. And yet they have completely different software ID.

[*]it might be a sort of UUID and license might be tied to that software ID. If it changes for some reason, you may loose license ...
