CRS310-8G+2S+IN port LEDs yellow and SFP+ dead - strange...

Hi,
is it normal that only the yellow leds blink and the green ones are off on a 1G connection?
I just received that device (our first MikroTik). I did the very initial setup (IP, updates etc) put in an SFP+, connected that and went away for 2h. After I came back the machine hung. I restarted and saw that only the yellowish led was blinking. I do not remember if there was a green led before. So I do not know if the green one should be blinking. From the youtube videos I see the green ones blinking...
Btw, the SFP+ ports do not work anymore after the crash. And the fans are running at a pretty high level now.
I did a full reset of the device and I can access it again (from RJ45 ports, not from SFP+) and it says that all ports are ok and SFP+ are plugged in, but I believe something strange happend. I believe that this may be some sort of DOA. Am I correct?
Any ideas and suggestions?
Thanks!
