LHG 60G - very slow speeds

Thu Jun 06, 2024 4:29 pm

Hello,

I have a LHG-60G and the connection works, but is very slow.

tx-phy-rate is 2.3Gbps, so the wireless interface is not the limiting factor. You're maxing out at 97.1Mbps, that sounds suspiciously like you have a 100Mbit ethernet connection somewhere.

The first screenshot showing the speed is RouterOS tool (tools-->SPeedtest) from one LHG 60 to the other LHG60. No other devices inbetween at all.

do the bandwith test and check if it goes through the ethernet on both of them, just in case.

Don't do a "both" UDP test. Try "send" and then "receive." Your limiting factor will be the CPU's of the radios, so as suggested elsewhere, do your "official" testing with devices on either end of the radios, ideally something with more horsepower like two computers.
