RouterOS Upgrades and Wireguard Peer Public Keys
Posted: Mon Aug 26, 2024 9:00 pm
Good Morning...
I've got 3 Mikrotik RB5009 setup in various locations throughout Alaska.
The Site A is our primary site and has a static IP. The other sites, (Site B, Site C) all connect via Wireguard and are at remote locations.
What we have discovered is that when we do a RouterOS Upgrade, Wireguard fails.
It turns out that the Peer Public Keys and the Peer Private Keys are being reset to bogus keys.
Does anybody have any solutions or a script to delete the peer private key and set the public key?
Thanks.
