Dialing out to external 56k modem through serial port

Hi,

I'm experimenting and trying to set up like an emergency backup connection using RouterOS and an external 56k modem connected by a serial cable. I have a good idea how I could make the router detect when it's internet connection goes down and switch to the dial-up connection.

The only thing I'm struggling with is how to set up a dial-up modem to work with a routerboard. I'm pretty sure it has to do with making a ppp-out interface, but I can't figure out much more than that. The modem in question is the following:

http://www.usr.com/support/product-temp ... ?prod=5686

It is the -02 version. The routerboard I am testing with is a 532 running RouterOS 2.9.50. I'm guessing it might have something to do with some init strings or something of that sort that I would need to enter in for the ppp-out, but unfortunately I'm pretty new to this sort of thing in general and am having trouble figuring anything out.

Would anyone be willing to help me out on this or at least point me in the right direction? I would greatly appreciate the help!
