RB450Gx4 Fails to Upgrade from 7.16.2 to 7.17rc: "Insufficient Kernel Space" Error Unseen Online

Mon Jan 13, 2025 8:38 am

When I tried upgrading my RB450Gx4 router to the latest 7.17rc version, it restarted but remained on 7.16. The first log entry stated: "Upgrade failed, free 9 kB of kernel disk space." My router has over 400MB of free disk space, and despite searching extensively online, I couldn’t find anyone else encountering this error on RouterOS.

Same thing with stable release. Probably time to wait for 7.17.1...
