These are already supported on ax devices.

And on certain models of AC devices ... those which can run wifi-qcom-ac driver.
As to how it works: mobility works between radios, controlled by same entity. Basic setup is single dual-radio device which controls both/all radios and mobility works between those radios. Advanced setup is network of (eligible) devices, controlled by CAPsMAN (which is the "same entity" mentioned before), where mobility works between all radios controlled by same CAPsMAN ... All of that if configuration is correct (one needs to enable a few settings though).
