RB411 handle 20-30 PPPoE Clients?

Mon Jan 28, 2008 1:31 am

Anyone figure this new board will do 20-30 PPPoE clients, no firewalling, only simple queues to limit BW, maybe 5 megabit peak throughput.

Thanks!

Yeah, I don't think it will be a problem. From my testing the RB411 has more cpu power than a RB532..

RB411 definitely have no problems from CPU point of view - the bottleneck in my chase is Wireless

Are you referring to a shortcoming in the 411 or just the limited speed of wireless links in general?

I am referring to limited speed of wireless link - I am really waiting for RB400 series board with several wireless cards (replacement for RB133 for example)

What "shortcoming in the 411" do you mean?
