Hi Hi kowal, thx for the reply.
When it pops up, does this mean that loop protect was active? What is causing this? And should i avoid it.
Thx in advance.

Is a loop protect on VLANs, for default is on.
You can disable it like disable airbag before one accident.

Ok, i think airbags are really usefull.
Still, is the protocol shown on torch, because it was active? What causes network loops? Could it be an hint to misconfiguration?!
Thx

I don't understand the questions.
The presence in torch means that it is in function, not that there is a loop.

Thank you, you answered my question perfectly. I initially thought it would only show up, when there was a problem--> loop.
