Hi,
Is there like a default IP in order to allow me to configure? or need to use serial? I was told by my vendor that routerOS is already pre-loaded tho'..

Thanks.

Router->ether1->UTP-Cable->Laptop

Use winbox and connect using Mac-address, if you dont know the IP address

Hi ashish,
winbox doesn't detect its mac address, and it times out when I enter it manually. I'll try another board that I have, btw, what is the default username/pass?

Hi Ashish ! may i ask you a small but important question? i believe you know more tham me rb133c or other MIKROTIK board.
Is there a way to connect from internet the board to look traffic etc etc? is there a port to connect via HTTP ? i use DNS services to control my equipment i.e. IP camera, or others and works well. i set a port and redirect HTTP to this port.
rb133 hasn't it? sorry hoping that explained, many tks from Italy
