Hello every body

i have a mikrotik Hotspot router os 2.9.27 setup on a pentium 3 pc with two lan cards ok. my line capacity is 1024 but i have some problems when i devide the bandwidth from the hotspot user profiles . The problem is that when i devided my bandwidth to several speeds like 128. 256 . 512 and 1024 i found that the time when i download any thing the ping of the dns or the mikrotik gateway becomes very high and that happens only when i limit tha speed to 128.256 or 512 but if i let it as default or 1024 there is no problem at all . I brought here some pictures the clears what i mean :

3 / and here while downloading see how the ping time raises specially the time of the mikrotik router gate way which is 10.0.0.2 ( this is the puplic lan gateway ) :



so what is the problem exactly and wht happens is there any thing wrong with my configuration

Yes, because user is downloading and taking all bandwidth, set highest priority to ping if you wish to see stable ping all the time.

Do not forget to use the latest RouterOS version.
