Can anybody give me an advise on this thought?

I have a 4 different locations with a Microtik Router in Hotspot mode. The guests connect via WLAN and all traffice is passing through ether1 to the ISP.

Now my question:
I read a bit about tunnels and come across that there is OVPN and PPTP which offers secure tunnel functions. Where is the different and which would be better?

Also I would like that the Radius traffic to Authenticate the Users goes over a VPN connection to my my Radius Server and the "normal traffice" what the guest surfs over the ISPs line rather than tunneling the guest traffic aswell as it both (guest traffic and Radius traffic) goes over Ether1 to the outside world
