Does anyone know if true receive diversity is supported in Mikrotik? I know have read that Prism Cards dont have proper diversity support but does MT with another card work properly? I only see you can set RX and TX but not the recieve diversity. Is it just a hardware thing?

I would be very interested in seeing a response from Mikrotik on this one. I have asked about diversity in the past and have received no responses. All of the wireless cards I have purchased for use in Mikrotik systems have had two antenna connectors and I have used only one in every case because I have no information on using both for diversity receive.

You dont need diversity in mikrotik...
Diversity is used in house aps to compensate for microposition...
You are not supposed to have to omni antennas and have diversity betwen them...

I am not using omni antennas with Mikrotik.
I dont agree with you on the "You dont need diversity in mikrotik..."
Diversity support can be very helpfull with Multipath and rf fading from my understanding.

That's true, diversity system will be helpfull in any point to multipoint topology. It is definetly needed in mikrotik since mikrotik is used for hotspot application (indoor environment) and wisp (PTMP).
However, Mikrotik has feature to separate Rx and TX antenna
