wrong username or password(strange behavior) + more

Hi mt fans and supporters,
I have this very weird behavior of my ROS. Yesterday i have changed v3.1 to v3.7 on multicore intel processors and...thank you MT for almost giving me heartattack when my production router failed to start. Good thing i had backup flash with v2.946, so i put it in, traffic flow became normal again but i expirienced some bug with 'New Terminal' window saying that 'concole is busy, try again later' or something..but its wasnt even a problem to me cause i was so happy that production is working. Later on that day i have been working on some rules then closed winbow with 'X' and after that i couldnt login to that router again. Tryed different 100% worked before accounts , tryed to login from different PCs, tryed concole and everything gives me 'wrong password and username'. Then i tryed to put login admin and blank password and it worked ! But all the accounts i had were deleted
My questions are:
1. WTF could happen to the users ? What about compromisin my security admin /w blank password ? No one exept me had full privelege password(too complex to brute, secure connection, strict ACL to get to router), router didnt loose power or nothing...
2. What version is stable to use, if there is one
?
3. What about concole bug - 'Console has crashed or maybe system is completely busy; please log in again' ? Router resources are normal, but i dont see no packedges installed or nothing...how to fix that ?:)

p.s we will not give up on mikrotik

well, you know what, the exact same thing is happening to me on x86 v3.14 routeros. I've upgraded it directly from 2.9.51. All the settings stayed normal, after startup everything started as usual, just in new 3.14 style. Few days later, i tried to connect to it through winbox, and it said 'wrong username or password', and I was 100% sure that the password was correct, later tried to connect via ssh, because i've disabled telnet access. Same story, can't loggon due to incorrect password. Trying to connect by web interface it says 'Error 501, function not implemented'..
Weird thing that after manual reboot (had to go to the router itself) everything worked ok, i could connect with my password (username admin) everywhere (ssh, winbox, web). Few days later, it stuck again.. Router resumes it's operations, just any administration thingy ain't working. I've rebooted it again, then tried to change the admin password. Worked for a few days until now. I checked the forum and found this post with the exact same problem, tried to connect with admin user using a blank password as it was mentioned here, and it worked! Same story - no users, just admin with blank password.
Currently i've changed the admin password, added a new full control user with different password. Will see how that goes..
I'm hoping it gets some attention and is going to be fixed, because such a problem is very annoying in the first place, not to mention the security risk..

Hey, i've just noticed that package and files under winbox are empty too..
I do believe that such a thing has to be explained somehow or treated as a bug

It's set to yes. should i change it to no, if i'm using single processor system?
Everything happened again, i had to login with blank password to check that multicpu value

Everything's ok for quite some time now.. Don't know what was wrong. Maybe upgrade to higher version helped, can't tell now.

Its happens when HDD or USB storage a full or when its broken.
When you free some space on hdd - all works fine, when Flash is damaged - just change the flash

That's the point, flash drive wasn't damaged neither full. I'm currently using 3.23, which works perfectly. On the same flash drive.

Hello guys, I'm new here but would like to add that I am also having the same problem.
The server is turned on all day, so you notice something wrong when you try to log in by WinBox. And you know by now, so restarting solves so far.
Remember that if you connect with User: admin and password: empty.
You have full access to mikrotik put all changes made to your configuration, are lost when you restart! Take me long to realize it and added me many losses of information!
I followed the topic and did not realize the resolution of the problem! Ja'm researching a few days and not find answers.
Even seemingly already be an old problem!
I had this problem in version 3:20 to 5:20 - and I still have the 6.11.
My biggest doubt is, this problem is hardware or software?
And especially if you have solution, what?
If you forgive the mistakes in english google translator. rsrsrrsrs
Server PC x86:
Intel Pentium 3.06GHz - RAM 2GB - HD 500GB SATA - 4 LAN 10/100/1000 - ASUS P5VD2-X - Mikrotik v6.11

After a manual reset , mikrotik boots but there is no network activity (mt beeps, leds are flashing but nothing)
I have to connect a monitor tomorrow!
