A Newbie Question about managing bandwidth

Mon Apr 04, 2005 4:54 am

Hi all,
I'm new to Mikrotik and I want to ask a couple of question.
I have a connection to my isp through 10.20.30.4 and I have public IP for my office 192.168.22.xxx

My mikrotik PC had 2 ethernet with 10.20.30.4 and 192.168.22.1

I have succesufully make this PC as a internet gateway for my office, but I want to make sure that all the traffic from my office to my isp does not exceed more than 64k how can I do that?

The other question is can I limit each computer from my office i.e PC with 192.168.22.10 only can use 16kb bandwidth..

can I have the command please? Thank you

Forgive my english

thank you for the direction.

another question :
can I make mikrotik to share my bandwidth depends on connections? i.e I have 35 pcs with 256k connection, can I make mikrotik to share the bandiwidth to 256/35 when 25 pcs are using the internet, then automatically share the bandwidth to 256/2 when only 2 PCs are connected?

Thanks
