Hello everyone,

I'm collecting and studying the statistics that I can get from wireless interfaces in MK. I'm showing this values as a graph, but I'm a little confused about the SNR (signal to noise ratio). I was wondering if there is an "ideal" value for it, because I think it is not like CCQ that is like a percentage, and I read elsewhere that 39dB is very good ... I already saw 24, 21, even 42, but I don't know how good or bad they are ...

Does somebody know more about this ?

SNR is the difference between the Noise Floor and the signal strengh, as higher is the SNR better your link will function.
I woudn't start up a link with less than 20dB SNR for 1Mbps

As little as 6dB SNR will work for 2.4Ghz B-mode operation, but it won't work very well. 15dB+ is ideal.
