Mac Auth Randomly Getting Login Page

I have my network setup with Hotspot and the majority of my customers are set to Mac Authenticate. Everything is working fine for the most part. However for some reason users still randomly get a login page? I am using 2.9.51. We typically will give the user a login and get them in the system and on next server reboot they will typically then go ahead an Mac Authenticate. Any ideas or reasoning behind the random occurrence of this?

Second.. We are also noticing at a different location using 3.13 users that sit behind a wireless home router are being prompted for login/password even though their Wireless CPE is mac authenticated.. We are having to bypass these customers through the hotspot which doesn't make sense due to the mac auth being at the CPE level and not the Router/Computer level.

Thanks for the help.

Do you have RADIUS involved in your setup ?

Upgrade your router to the latest RouterOS version, when the problem is present.
