Nstreme question: enable-polling I don't understand!

Hi,

any idea for enable-polling ?? Should I use it, or not?
I use nstreme on single point-to-point links, so I question myself about this feature. Is there any doc about nstreme to find out how it works?

polling could help you on point to multipoint setups.
from the manual:
Client polling reduces media access times, because the card does not need to ensure the air is "free" each time it needs to transmit data (the polling mechanism takes care of it)

NStreme Point-to-Multipoint - controlled point-to-multipoint mode with client polling (like AP-controlled TokenRing)

Thanks. So, if I understand well, I should set enable-polling to no and put framer-policy to exact-size in order to get a bit better performance on p-t-p link. Or, I should not use nstreme at all?

best-fit or dynamic-size would be best framer policy. you can leave polling On

Leave polling on, it is better with point to point also.
