Mac-Auth Random User Log in Requests???

We are using Hotspot with Mac-Auth. It works great for the most part. However we are noticing a couple really weird issues.. Users who are Mac Authenticated will randomly not MAC-AUTH and get a log in page and are required to enter a username and password. Is there a reason or a fix for this? Typically rebooting the server will resolve the issue and users who were required to log in will then go ahead and mac-auth but it just doesn't make sense as to why they just out of the blue have to log in vs. Mac Auth..??

Also on occassion certain users who are mac-authenticated will get thrown into some type of loopback process where it will attempt to mac-auth approx. 10 times extrememly fast then go to a page cannot display?? Really odd and random as well.

Are these just common issues and glitches that we are just going to deal with or are there some settings that we need to look at to resolve the issue for good? Thanks for the help!!
