got the routerboard532 with OS 2.9 (unfortunatelly).
Lot of problems because change from 2.8 to 2.9 are huge.

Took me 30min to get a simple masquerade to work again and still FTP-sites have problems. (cannot connect and then times out).

Q: Where is the trick to get simple FTP to remote sites back (looks like a double NAT below)?
200 PORT command successful.
Opening data connection IP: 192.168.2.111 PORT: 1657.
MLSD
550 Cannot connect to 192.168.2.111:5003 - No route to host.
An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
Connection closed.

If you read the manual, configuring masquerading should take no more than two minutes.
The reason why the new RouterBoard ships with the 2.9 (beta) is simple: It's a new hardware platform (other processor), which is not supported by current releases (2.8.x). This is clearly stated all over the RouterBoard website etc.
