Transparently Bridge two Networks

Thu Mar 26, 2009 8:05 pm

Hi People,

I tried to connect a Network via WDS...

http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Transpare ... o_Networks

I tried this Tutorial, but I can see the AP but I can't connect to it, whether with the station, nor an other w-lan client... but I don't know why...
I did all steps, like they're explained there, but I don't get it work :-(

I have two RB411 wtih RouterOS3.10 ...

Thanks

Michael

Look carefully to the settings, there must be the same at both ends (both APs). The tutorial works 100%. In your case you've probably forgot to enable dynamic wds or nstream at one end. Check again! Good luck!

Hi,

i set the RB411s back to factory-defaults, and used the manual step by step... but it doesn't work...

can anybody post his config please? -> I'm shure it's just a small mistake! But I can't find it...

I updatet the FW to v3.24 .

Best regards

Michael
