I have a startup WISP and have all Mikrotik AP's and a few CPE's but mostly Ubiquity NS2 CPE's. I have the Dude setup and running but I cannot find a service that will monitor the NS2 like ping does for example on a Mikrotik RB-411. Please help and remember I'm learning so please keep it on a lower level I would greatly appreciate it!!!

there is no difference to the dude about what device it pings. it can be a print server, smart refrigerator or a NS device, it's all the same to the dude. All it needs is the IP address, and no restrictions to ping.

Well I've tried everything I can. I have tried the actual device address 192.168.240 and the address given by the mikrotik AP 10.2.1.186. Either way I get timeout on the ping. Please let me know what the setting should be to make there be no restrictions on the ping.

I have no idea how you configure the NS devices, but you should see if it isn't blocking anything. Ask their support.

We also use MT AP's with some NS2's as cpe. First of all, we use the NS2's in router mode with nat enabled, not bridged. Back to the dude, You can use the discover tool to find your network 10.2.1.0/24 im guessing. If the dude cannot find it, simply add device and put the ip address in (10.2.1.186). That should work.

I would be interested in setting up using router instead of bridge mode but cannot figure it out after several tries. I will keep trying on a test device and let you know how it turns out.
