I install RouterOS from Boot CD and It format the whole Hard Disk. I'm looking for a way to install on a partition. Because I don't think that it would take the whole HD space for just a very quick RouterOS installation. Is there any tool which will help to solve this problem?

*The hard disk will be entirely reformatted during the installation and all data on it will be lost!*

What kind of partition that store RouterOS? (Ext, Ext2, ....) Why it take the whole hard disk space since the installation CD is only 20Mb. Why it take a lot of space since it doesn't need? Is there any advanced technique to install RouterOS on a limit space. I glad to hear from you even if it is a complex method.
