ROUTER HAS NO SOFTWARE KEY

I have downgraded my routeros on 450g from version 4 beta3 to version 3.23

as i enter the RB via telnet i face the bellow message :




ROUTER HAS NO SOFTWARE KEY
----------------------------
You have 20h59m to configure the router to be remotely accessible,
and to enter the key by pasting it in a Telnet window or in Winbox.

Current installation "software ID": BlahBlahBlah,,,,

and as i wanna import my license key in system>license>import
i face the bellow error :

"Could not change the key - invalid key "


again i tried to copy the content of license key file and past in mikrotik but after restart i again see that no changes are make.


please help me

I have this exact same problem as well and I have contacted support and they have provided me with a new key but I cannot get the new one to stick. I have tried through winbox, hyperterminal, and the new terminal in winbox and still without success. If anyone has any ideas what I'm doing, I would really appreciate knowing.

had exactly the same problem with 1 RB 433AH and 1 RB 1000u, contacted support, rb433ah fixed with new software key given, but not with the RB 1000u,

problem: license expiring within 23+ hours, had to hard reboot (soft reboot won't reboot at all) the unit then it went expiring again and again. upgraded from 4.3 to 4.4 with no effect.

re-install using netinstall without any success neither.

will send the unit back for RMA, bugger!!! :-x
