Help with BR450G - it loosing WAN every 5-15 minutes.
"Loosing WAN" looks like no connection to gateway, but physical connection persist.
After loosing WAN I can't login Winbox from WAN, but can login from LAN.
In logs - nothing, after reboot work fine fo 5-15 min.
Power - ok (UPS)

Can anybody help?

I have disscuss it in

It's a thread for RB600 with gigabit ports. Same problems for some people.

I have seen same problem but its not consistent. The one thing I noticed was that it only happened when negotiated at GB so manually setting interface to 100FDX made the problem go away for me.. try that to see results if your problem is on GB

You guys are a little too defensive sometimes :)

I see nothing wrong with suggesting there is two or more devices with same apparent problem.

Example: I just loaded new ROS on RB600 and all my settings are gone. Hey, I have same exact problem, I loaded new ROS on RB493 and lost all my settings. Yeah, me too, same here with RB532A...

Now there should be nothing wrong with this because to us (and it usually holds true) it is the same problem caused by same ROS.

Now back to reality. People are telling you of strange events dealing with Routerboards and GB eth ports. Mind you I've been in this business (others on here are not new to the industry either) since even before there was RJ45 eth ports. I'm telling you there is something that has shown up on the radar I haven't seen in the last 20 years with the way they are behaving. I can't explain what yet because I don't have the luxery of testing completely - if I have an issue I set the port to 100FDX and move on because I don't require GB connectivity any way. Just take note that like many of the other problems that were eventually identified and corrected - there may very well possibly be an issue here. You guys blow stuff off way too fast as not an issue.

"all my settings are gone" is something so unspecific, it could be related to any number of things. it doesn't mean that this is the "same problem". for one - you could have a metal object (pigtail) touching the area around the reset jumper, or you maybe used the broken version v3.25 that is known to lose settings, or maybe you have a defective NAND that failed to write configuration? This is not specific at all.

What device (make/model) is connected to the WAN port? And how are it's speed / duplex settings configured?

Problem was in Cisco, my provider turned-off spanning-tree and turn-on bpdufilter.

I had similar problems with RB600 etc. I don't find the same problem on PC based routers. The way I resolved this is to replace the rb600 with PC based
