I'm not real sure whos replying to who, but in case the past two responses were for me I'll ask again since no answer yet regarding my question, which I'll quote, was:
I'd like to know the answer to this original question as well. They are basically specd the same so if you put the r52n in non-mimo mode (if possible I haven't messed with these at all) what would be the difference?
It goes without saying you need ROS 4b4 So past that, point is operationally whats the difference. Here is what I have figured out so far since I posted that question but it would be nice for a complete answer to eliminate surprises later.
- The R52N does not have the same power output as the R52H. Further, you only get the rated output of the R52N if you use 2 chains which then adds the additional 3db to what you would get otherwise.
- The R52N may have problem in B/G mode working on 5 or 10Mhz channels - not sure the status on the post related to this. A guy had two of these and could not get the station to see the AP unless in 20Mhz channel or N mode.
Its just stuff like that I'd like to know without picking up bit and pieces from different threads. Just one simple authoritative answer would be nice

What issues do I face only buying R52N cards instead of R52(H) cards - aside from the ROS requirements.
