In my setup I have DSL modem that does not store PPPoE Login information, instead this info is handled by D-link Dl-604 router. Because of this my Dl-604 is my DHCP server. My RB411 is connected to one of the LAN ports on the 604 and I am using this setup to share my DSL connection as well as have access to my office PC's files I need to work on at home. I share to my home RB411 that is then connected to Linksys WRT54G so that I may be able to use wireless devices on my business DSL connection. I am having a lot of trouble with DHCP conflicts I think. Everything will work well for a while and then crash dramatically. Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to handle a setup like this properly? Maybe I can use the RB411 connection as a raw pathway and let the Dl-604 handle all of the DHCP? How is the best way to make the RB411 not use DHCP? BTW I use my WRT54G as an access point only. DHCP is turned off. I am, however, running DHCP server on my office RB411 and DHCP client on my home RB411 while Dl-604 is also running DHCP server.
