Address groups

Tue Jun 07, 2005 8:44 am

Hi.

As I see, in Mikrotik I can't create rules based on address groups.
Can I make a firewall rule (for example) to reject connections from 192.168.0.100-192.168.0.200 ? I suppose there's other solution than create 100 firewall rules. I tried address pools, but I can't use them here.

The same problem is the traffic shaper. I want to give fix bandwidth for 3 computers share (512kbps for example). But shaper rules same, I can specify one IP address only.

Does anyone knows a solution for this ?

Thanks

You can but you will have to use subnet masks which may not align perfectly with your defined address groups.
