value returned from the monitor

Hi guys,
I am trying to use the antenna alignment script (unit beeps while aligning) and it doesn't seem to run on version 4.
can you give me a hand out with how to use the information returned while monitoring the radio?
When i run "/interface wireless monitor wlan1 interval=1" I would like to use the "signal-strength" value but am not sure how assign it to a variable or use it as is.
The script I found in this site looks like: :if ($"signal-strength" =>
That seems to be giving back a syntax error
Any help would be appreciated.
